ABOUT  

Liz Umlas was born and raised in Boston, and has lived with her family in Switzerland for many years. When not hiking and taking photos, she works to promote human rights and animal welfare. She is married with two adult children and two rescue cats.  

THE PHOTOS  

I have long felt privileged to live in such a beautiful part of the world, but the pandemic has given me the time to explore my surroundings in a way and to an extent I had not previously experienced. I’ve gained an enhanced appreciation for the environment and the majesty of the flora and fauna that surround us.  

I'm happy to share some of my favorite photos from the Swiss countryside, and hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
